Startup Boost and Techstars partner to support earlier-stage entrepreneurs globally
Techstars, the worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed, and Startup Boost, a global pre-accelerator program, today announces a new partnership to run Startup Boost programs for pre-seed, early stage entrepreneurs around the world. Applications are now being accepted at www.startupboost.org for Spring programs in New York, London, Los Angeles and Toronto until March 26th.
“Working with Techstars gives our teams and city directors access to a great network to make the biggest impact possible on pre-seed startup success,” said founding member of Startup Boost, Blake Caldwell. “The benefit of Startup Boost is that it brings a startup development model with a proven track record to companies in an under supported stage.”
Startup Boost is powered by successful entrepreneurs, investors and community leaders who give their time to help pre-seed startups succeed. The program sees a huge mentorship and community development opportunity with startups that are not yet ready to apply for an accelerator, and give them access to critical resources and mentors that help them get to this next stage. Startup Boost does not charge a fee or equity to companies that participate in the program.
“Techstars has worked with the team leading Startup Boost for years, said David Brown, founder and co-CEO of Techstars.“They truly fit our Give First ethos and have helped many entrepreneurs grow. Working with Startup Boost is an exciting way for us to help founders who are looking for a program between a Techstars Startup Weekend and a Techstars mentorship-driven accelerator program. We are excited to partner with them to help entrepreneurs succeed.”
Startup Boost was founded in 2017 with programs in the United States, Europe and Canada. It is a 6-week pre-accelerator program to prepare pre-seed stage startups for accelerators, investment and revenue creation. Working in tandem with keynote speakers and mentors each week, teams selected for each cohort rapidly improve upon their understanding of how to grow their unique company efficiently.
After the successful launch of Startup Boost in 2017 with programs that took place in Detroit, Dublin, Los Angeles and Toronto, the all-encompassing six-week program is spreading its reach. New cities for 2018 include London and Seattle with a blockchain vertical program taking place this Spring in New York.
NOTE:Startup Boost applications are now open until March 26th HERE
